Paul H. Brunner



 Paul H. Brunner, 教授,奥地利维也纳技术大学

Prof. Dr. Paul H. Brunner is heading the Institute for Water Quality, Resource and Waste Management, and holds the chair for Waste Management at the Vienna University of Technology. He specializes in research on waste and resource management and focuses on the “regional metabolism”, in particular on methods to analyze, evaluate and control material flows and stocks in urban regions. The results are applied for decision making in the fields of waste management, resource management, and environmental protection. Prof. Brunner was a research adviser to the EU (7th Framework Program) and acts as a science expert for the Governments of Austria, Germany and Switzerland. He has published several books on topics such as Metabolism of the Anthroposphere and Material Flow Analysis, and is author of more than 450 papers.
