The 21st International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies

（SET2024, www.set2024.org）

 

SET2024 is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed international conference on sustainable energy technologies. The conference provides an international platform for sharing the latest technical information, disseminating high-quality research results, introducing the latest developments in the energy sector, and will exchange and discuss the future development direction and priorities of sustainable development and energy security. The SET2024 will be co-hosted by Shanghai Electric Power University and WSSET-World Society for Sustainable Energy Technology in Shanghai.

WSSET Innovation Awards:

The WSSET Innovation Awards aim to recognize the achievements of individuals and organizations in new sustainable technologies and to encourage the wider adoption of these new technologies. Areas of innovation include:

● Renewable energy systems (e.g. solar, wind, biomass, geothermal)

● Power generation technologies (e.g. cogeneration systems, fuel cells, anaerobic digestion units)

● Energy efficiency (e.g. heat pumps, solar/natural gas hybrid systems)

● Low-carbon buildings and future cities (e.g. low/zero-carbon buildings, sustainable cities, sustainable materials)

● Waste management and water treatment (e.g. household and construction waste management, desalination)

● Agri-food technologies (e.g. innovative greenhouses, food drying, bioremediation)

Terry Payne Prize Conference Scholarship Professor

Terry Payne will generously sponsor the conference registration costs for 20 full-time PhD students. Applicants should meet the following conditions:

●Open to doctoral students from all over the world.

● Applicants must be full-time students at the time of submission of the conference abstract.

●Applicants must have an accepted abstract for oral and/or poster presentation SET2024.

Sponsorship recruitment

There can be a variety of sponsorship modes for SET2024, including but not limited to:

1. Subsidize the wine during the conference (the sponsor is identified on the wine package);

2. Sponsor the conference registration fee and travel and accommodation expenses of several outstanding students (conference scholarship in the name of the company);

3. Sponsor the conference registration fee and travel and accommodation expenses for several young scholars (conference scholarship (research and research fund in the name of the company);

4. Sponsor the printing of conference materials, production, etc. (the company's brochure can be put into the conference material package);

5. Cash sponsorship (promotional posters can be set up at the conference site, conference websites and other promotional materials: logo sponsored by a certain company);

Introduction of Shanghai Electric Power University

Shanghai Electric Power University is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning jointly established by the central government and the Shanghai Municipality and mainly managed by Shanghai. Founded in 1951, the school has two campuses in Yangpu and Pudong, the school is a higher education institution with engineering-oriented, science, management, economics, literature and other disciplines, distinctive characteristics of energy and power as the main disciplines, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines, with a complete degree authorization system of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, and in 2021, the school was approved for the construction of high-level local colleges and universities in Shanghai, with more than 14,000 full-time students and more than 1,000 faculty members. At present, there are more than 70 high-level talents such as academicians of the Australian Academy of Technology, Science and Engineering, the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the National Millions of Talents Project and the National High-end Talents. The university has 13 secondary colleges and 40 undergraduate majors, including the School of Energy and Mechanical Engineering, the School of Electrical Engineering, and the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering. College of Energy and Mechanical Engineering,

Shanghai Electric Power University

 School of Energy and Mechanical Engineering is one of the schools with the longest history and the most distinctive characteristics of energy and electric power in Shanghai Electric Power University, with academicians of the Australian National Academy of Science and Engineering Technology, national high-end talents, outstanding talents of the Ministry of Education in the new century, Shanghai "Oriental Scholars" distinguished professors and other talents and recipients of special allowances from the State Council. The master's program of the first-level discipline of power engineering and engineering thermophysics is among the best at the master's level in the third and fourth rounds of discipline evaluation in the country, and has a number of national, provincial and ministerial teaching and research platforms and key disciplines, making the engineering discipline enter the top 1% of the international ESI disciplines. The major of energy and power engineering has been selected as a national first-class undergraduate major construction project, and has passed the engineering education professional certification and ASIIN international engineering certification, which is a national characteristic major, and was selected into the first batch of national outstanding engineer programs.
